Glamorous fashion show at Triumph’s 125th birthday bash

Triumph Malaysia celebrated its 125th anniversary in style in a glamorous fashion show befitting the brand’s sensuous image with celebrity friends, partners and members of the media at the lower ground Oval concourse of 1 Utama shopping complex in Petaling Jaya on May 4.

The fashion show presented five breathtaking collections – sexy cushion maximizer, ecochic, butterfly, premium and sexy shaper – that drew gasps of admiration from the guests as the models, including supermodel Amber Chia (left), draped in Triumph’s latest innovations make their appearance on the runway.

Guests were served a variety of delicious finger foods and drinks while enjoying the show.

Body Fashion (M) Sdn Bhd general manager for sales and marketing Lai Yuen Ping said: “Celebrating 125 years of lingerie making is a remarkable achievement. For 125 years, Triumph has been celebrating women with alluring lingerie and fashionable shapewear that bring out the goddess in each and every one of us.”

The exclusive by-invitation-only event was well-attended by more than 200 guests dressed in their best outfits. Among a host of celebrity guests in attendance to honour Triumph’s glorious 125 years of successes and milestones accomplished were TV host Daphne Iking, actresses Dynas Mokhtar and Vanida Imran, radio DJ Serena C and supermodel Amber Chia.

In wishing Triumph happy 125th anniversary, actress Vanida Imran said she loved lingerie because it made her feel good and sexy from the inside out.

“I adore Triumph because it meets my body shape needs,” she added.

Radio DJ Serena C said: “When I think of lingerie, I think of sensuality. It makes me feel immediately 200% more woman!”.

Triumph started out as a tiny corset factory in southern Germany by two men; merchant Michael Braun and corset maker Johann Gottfried way back in 1886 with just six sewing machines and six employees. 125 years on, today Triumph International has developed into a unique global player and is one of the world’s leading underwear manufacturers with over 37,000 employees working in more than 120 countries including Malaysia.
