Elaine Daly, Project Director of hurr.tv said, “Almost everyone watches everything online these days. hurr.tv is a one-of-a-kind online and video streaming channel that is targeted at a large youth market who are into fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle and contemporary issues. Our original content will focus on current trending stories in line with our tagline, hip, urban, relevant and real.”
She added, “Riding on the Miss Universe Malaysia platform, we have a ready pool of young talents who are poised to become rising stars in the fields of their choice. One example is our reigning Miss Universe Malaysia 2016, Kiran Jassal who will share her personal journey in Kiran’s Diary which captures her preparation for the international Miss Universe pageant.”
Another upcoming talent who will be starring in her own show is Swarna Naidu, third runner-up at the recent Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 pageant. This musically-inclined beauty will star in Swarna Jam which chronicles her path towards achieving her dreams of becoming a singer. She will be scouting for bands to hold jam sessions and hopefully discover Malaysia’s next music star in the process.
Some of the other segments to watch out for are Style It Right where viewers will get bite-sized tips on fashion, and learn the latest trends from leading designers in the country. The Fitness Challenge segment will showcase participants undergoing a series of challenges to test their fitness level. While In & Out KL will highlight cool live events happening around the city.
