Damansara Residents Bond While Breaking Fast

PETALING JAYA – The Persatuan Penduduk Blok A & B Damansara Bistari with the support of ADUN Damansara Utama service centre organised their own “Majlis Berbuka Puasa” for the flats residents

The Persatuan Penduduk Blok A & B Damansara Bistari with the support of ADUN Damansara Utama service centre organised their own “Majlis Berbuka Puasa” for the flats residents to celebrate the Muslim holy month of Ramadan on 19th June 2016.

Around 300 residents turned up for the breaking of fast at the residence multipurpose hall in block B.

The event was aimed at strengthening bonds among the Damansara Bistari flats residents while breaking their fast together.

Present at the event were Damansara Utama state assemblywoman Yeo Bee Yin and Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) councillor for zone 9 Jamaliah Binti Jamaludin.

“We are taking the opportunity in the holy month

of Ramadan to enhance the community spirit and foster goodwill among the residents,” said Abdul Samad Abdul Rashid, chairman of Persatuan Penduduk Blok A & B Damansara Bistari.

Abdul Samad expressed his thanks and appreciation to Yeo and Jamaliah who had contributed to the event.
