Leyla crowned Mrs Millennium Universe 2019

KUALA LUMPUR – Supported by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia’s home grown pageant is founded by Dato Reiss Tiara

Leyla Murugova, a model from Tatarstan was crowned Mrs Millennium Universe 2019, while Yusby Mendez, a lawyer and model from Venezuela captured the Mrs Tourism Millennium Universe 2019 crown.

Leyla also won three subsidiary titles of Mrs Body Beautiful, Popularity Queen and Best In Evening Gown. Yusby also walked away with the Human Rights Hibiscus Award and Mrs Talent subsidiary title.

The Mrs Millennium Universe 2019 pageant final took place at W Hotel Kuala Lumpur on May 11, 2019 with total of 16 international beauty queens from across the world, including Malaysia, competed for the global prestigious title. The gala pageant dinner and dance opened with a glittering fashion show by Borneo Republic Creations.

Contestants were judged on their appearance, intelligence and their ability to shine and display their true capability in enhancing confidence, positivity and creativity.

The judges narrowed the number of contestants down to top 10 before announcing the top 5 finalists. Apart from the five main titles, subsidiary titles and special awards were also handed out at the finals.

Malaysia was represented by Mrs Malaysia Millennium Universe 2019 Peggy Lee Heng and the Borneo states by Mrs Borneo Millennium Universe 2019 Alvinna Jesyca Anak Clement from Sarawak.

Throughout the pageant week leading up to the final, contestants participated in various charity, tourism and educational activities, including visit to an orang asli settlement in Kg. Orang Asli Bukit Tadom, Banting and charity at Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

Supported by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia’s home grown Mrs Millennium Universe Pageant is founded and organised by Dato Reiss Tiara, who is also founder of Thereiss Branding and Millennium World.

“Everyone of the pageant’s contestants in Millennium Universe platform is a world class beauty queen. I’m blessed to have such high quality contestants who represent my brand. All of them are winners, they won world titles, friendship, respect, admiration, and acquired memorable moments and beautiful memories in their life,” she said.  

Tiara thanked sponsors, judges and guests for making this world class event an overwhelming success.
