CJMYIT engineer from Malaysia, Mahisri was crowned the title winner of Mrs Asia Pacific Tourism 2019 beauty pageant.
Mahisri competed with 28 other contestants from around the world at the international beauty pageant held at the Grand Ballroom, Forest City, Johor Bahru on May 18.
The 28 year old mother of a baby girl said she felt less prepared as the pageant got closer. “The most vivid memory I have of me is feeling nervous during the question and answer session but I managed to answer the judges questions spontaneously.” said Mahisri.
“Most of the girls are equally amazing and they were like sisters to me. We helped and guided each other through out this journey.” Mahisri added.
The beauty queen who is committed to giving back to society through her charitable activities hopes with this win she will be able to reach out and motivate more ladies especially single mothers to succeed in life.
Mahisri also extended her gratitude to her family who stood by her as a pillar of strength throughout her journey.
