Mrs Msia Tourism Queen is back

PETALING JAYA – Audris Kok of World Chinese MG Alliance Sdn Bhd was appointed the official organiser for the pageant.

Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2019 starts second edition.

Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2019 involving married and matured women is back. It will not only showcase their beauty, talent and achievements but also glamour and sophistication.

In a packed press conference held at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya on May 17, 2019, Audris Kok of World Chinese MG Alliance Sdn Bhd was appointed the official organiser for the title of Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2019 Pageant.

“This is an international, Malaysia platform for all married women to shine, no matter if you are a young wife, mother or even grandmother, this is the platform for you to prove that you can be better in your own ways.

“Every woman deserves a chance to shine and the stage is the beginning of making you a queen,” she said at the MOU signing ceremony with Miss & Mrs Tourism Queen International Pageant president Sean Chia.

Audris Kok comes from a business and investment marketing background. She has taken up this challenge to mentor older women and encourage them to prove themselves that they can shine at any age. She is passionate about helping women on their own path of self-discovery and making them realize that even housewives and mothers are capable of much greater achievements.

Despite being a newcomer to the beauty industry, Audris believes that greater heights can be reached when one enjoys her job and does her  tasks wholeheartedly.

“A woman’s vibrant personality and elegant presence makes her the perfect mentor for the new generation of married women who can be business leaders with beauty and brains,” she said.

The pageant aims to foster friendship, merge cultures, initiate communication and mutual understanding amongst these special women through female empowerment. It also serves as an international platform to promote tourism and highlight knowledge of local business brands, tourism hotspots and tourism products including food, fashion and luxury goods.

Among the bevy of beauty queens present at the press conference was Mrs Tourism Queen International 2018 second runner-up Lisinda Hodgskin who travelled all the way from South Africa to support the event.

The audition will begin in June and finalists selected will undergo fire safety awareness training at a Bomba fire station on August 10, 2019. The talent show and semi-final will be held on September 28, 2019.

The grand final of Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2019 will be held at One World Hotel, the official hotel, on September 29, 2019.

Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2019 will receive a cash prize of RM10,000 and the opportunity to represent the country in the Mrs Tourism Queen International pageant.

There will be five main title winners and six subsidiary title winners, including for Best in Talent, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Kebaya, Best Popularity, Mrs Photogenic and Mrs Friendly.

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges, including renown figures such as Y.M Tunku Adj Prof Dato’ Sr Dr Fauzi bin Tunku Dato’ Abdul Malek Al Haj, Datin Maylene Yong and supermodel Amber Chia.
