Letter: Humping around Taman Molek

With more and more business areas sprouting out like mushrooms, Taman Molek residents are beginning to feel the strain of the rapid development as the town becomes congested.

With business districts sprouting like mushrooms, Taman Molek residents are beginning to feel the strain of the rapid development as the town becomes congested.

Kindergartens formally situated on landed property with plenty of outdoor space now hardly have any, and children have to make do without playgrounds.

However, for motorists who live around the Taman Molek area, rapid development has probably made the biggest difference to their lives.

Many road humps have been built as part of traffic-calming measures, in the interest  of pedestrian safety. (Jalan Molek 1 humps, left)

Komunitikini found that even the area around a petrol kiosk has three humps. (left)

At Jalan Molek 1, there are three humps on the main road, all within 400 meters.
