Nestlé brings senior citizens Chinese New Year cheer

PETALING JAYA – The residents were delighted to celebrate as some were unable to travel back home or are without family.

Nestlé recently feted 33 senior citizens of En Yuan Old Folks Home, Kampung Tunku, with a Chinese New Year treat as part of its commitment to positively impact communities in need.

There was much excitement as a group of more than 30 Nestlé volunteers
brightened up the home with colourful Chinese New Year décor. In keeping with Chinese New Year traditions, there was a lively lion dance as well as a Lou Sang toss to ring in the new year. As the evening drew to a close, the senior citizens enjoyed a delectable tea-time spread.
