Domino’s Pizza offers zero contact delivery amid Covid-19 fears

KUALA LUMPUR – As an integral part of this initiative, the company will only accept cashless payment method to minimize contact. As such, it will only be accepting orders made through their mobile app and website

Domino’s Pizza Malaysia has launched its contactless delivery service with immediate effect in response to the evolving Covid-19 situation and the recent Restriction of Movement Order (RMO) imposed by the Government.

The ‘Zero Contact Maximum Care’ delivery is part of a new hygiene measure to mitigate the risk of being infected by ensuring there is no contact when the food is delivered.

Domino’s Pizza Malaysia takes on the mandate for 100% contactless delivery service, in line with its commitment towards its employees and customers.

As an integral part of this initiative, the company will only accept cashless payment method to minimize contact. As such, it will only be accepting orders made through their mobile app and website www.dominos.com.my.

So what can customers expect? At the point of delivery, the delivery expert will place the order on a designated safe and clean surface and step back to a safe social distance of at least two meters. The customer may then pick up the delivery and check to ensure that everything is in order. Once completed, the rider will politely leave.

Domino’s Pizza Malaysia has launched a contactless delivery service to help protect both their customers and their employees by reducing risk of transmission of the coronavirus.

Domino’s Pizza Malaysia CEO Shamsul Amree said, “Today, we are taking the lead again by mandating that 100% of our deliveries are executed via our ‘Zero Contact’ delivery service for both our customers and delivery experts. Social distancing is an important and effective way to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus and we believe that we can further improve our service to our community by doing so and is further evidence of our commitment to the well-being of our customers and employees.

It is a duty that we all take very seriously. So to all Malaysians I say, stay safe and allow us to serve you in the best way possible.”
