Lively Tea infused with healthy adaptogen properties launched

Nestle Malaysia announced the nationwide rollout of its new range of ready-to-drink Lively Tea, following its successful soft launch in May this year.

The new range combines Malaysians’ favourite fruit flavours with the infusion of plant extracts known as adaptogens.

Adaptogens are known for their beneficial effects on health and recharging effects on the body which helps coping with stress.

Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad CEO Juan Aranols said the new range of drinks is well suited to consumers with today’s hectic lifestyles.

“We are excited to launch our very first iced tea drink, infused with adaptogens, to give stressed-out Malaysians a refreshing and stimulating experience that will help them to find moments to reflect, refresh and recharge to keep up with the demands of their busy days,” he said.

The Lively Tea range has three variants available in 450ml PET bottles based on Orange Guarana, Raspberry Lemon Balm and Pear Schisandra.

Lively Orange Guarana Tea

First used by the Guarani tribes in the Amazon jungle, the Guarana fruit was brewed into a stimulating drink that was believed to help improve focus and sharpen senses before going hunting or into battle.

Lively Orange Guarana Tea is brewed with earthy black tea leaves, topped with tangy orange peel notes and energized with guarana extract. Perfect for those moments when you need to focus to deal with tasks at hand.

Lively Raspberry Lemon Balm Tea

Lively Raspberry Lemon Balm Tea is brewed with rich black tea, raspberry and minty lemon balm. The lemon balm is known as the “Elixir of Life” throughout early modern Europe and has been infused in drinks for its relaxing and soothing effects on the body.

Lively Pear Schisandra Tea

Schisandra berries have been used in traditional Chinese remedies for centuries and are believed to restore the body’s natural balance of Yin and Yang.

Lively Pear Schisandra Tea is brewed with a flavourful blend of black tea, paired with pear and schisandra berries for a refreshed endurance to sustain through life’s hectic schedules.

They will be available at FamilyMart stores, on e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee, and at selected retailers nationwide beginning August 2021.
