The ParkCity Medical Centre (PMC) in Kuala Lumpur recently introduced its ‘Go the Extra Mile’ i-Kiddo Kids Mobile Clinic which will offer free health checks to kids from the B40 communities in the Kepong area.

The corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative was carried out in collaboration with Village Grocer and Masjid Al-Iman Al Ghazali in Bandar Manjalara.

PMC chief executive officer Ch’ng Lin Ling said the pandemic has elevated the importance of helping others, particularly the harder-hit communities during these challenging times.

“With the support of our CSR partners and an altruistic team of healthcare professionals, we can do our part for the well-being of children in need, while contributing towards building a healthier nation,” she said.

The kids mobile clinic with its team of pediatricians, pediatric ophthalmologist, nurses and staff volunteers from both PMC and Masjid Al-Imam Al Ghazali tended to children between the ages of 4 and 12 on September 26.
