MKH Berhad, through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program ‘MKHCare’, donates to six welfare homes around Kajang recently as part of its continued efforts to better serve the community amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Food items, daily necessities, and cash donations worth RM23,000.00 were donated to the welfare homes comprising orphans and old folks to cover the needs and management cost as a sign of the company’s support and solidarity to the local community.
“MKH understands that the welfare homes are lacked of funds and daily essential during this pandemic situation. Therefore, we hope that the contribution may help to ease their burden,” said MKH spoke person.
Among the receivers are Sincere Care Home, Shepherd’s Centre Foundation, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Yesuvin Mahligai Selangor (PKYMS), Joy Garden Old Folks Home, House of Hope & Light, and Rumah Caring Kajang.
“Thank you MKH for willing to provide assistance for our welfare home in this difficult time”, said Mr Jacop, Trustee and Director of Shepherd’s Centre Foundation after the donation handover ceremony.
MKH CARE is a community programme launched in 2016 that acts as a platform to give back to the community through involvement in holistic engagement programmes with various local charities.
Since 1996, MKH has assisted over 5,000 needy students within Hulu Langat District of Selangor in their journey for academic excellence.
