Malaysian beauty queens to wear Durio on the global stage

Durio, Malaysia’s premium face mask brand has come to fly Malaysian beauty queens safely to their respective international competitions.

Durio has come to support Miss Grand Malaysia 2021, Lishalliny Kanaran to win Malaysia’s first golden crown at the international platform.

Lishalliny arrived safely in Phuket, Thailand on Tuesday, November 16 to represent Malaysia at the Miss Grand International 2021.

“Thank you Durio for flying all the queens safely to their respective international competitions,” said Miss Grand Malaysia national director Jude Benjamin Lisa.

More than 60 countries will participate in the 9th edition of Miss Grand International as Thailand opens its doors to international tourists from 1 November in the hope of recovering its tourism industry.

Miss Grand International 2021 will see many activities by the delegates throughout the pageant week in Phuket.

The competition will proceed to Bangkok for the final stage, where the main events including National Costume Competition (30 Nov), Preliminary Competition (2 Dec) and Final (4 Dec) will take place.

Earlier this month, Durio also supported fellow beauty queens Poorani Rajoo and Malveen Kaur at their respective competitions.

Poorani, 24, a customer advocacy executive from Kuala Lumpur, finished in the top 20 at the Miss Intercontinental 2021 held in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt. While model and fashion designer Malveen Kaur, 27, finished in the top 15 at The Miss Globe 2021 competition held in Albania.

Durio PPE Sdn Bhd founder Quek See Kui said, “We are glad that our three Malaysian beauty queens have chosen the Durio brand as their essential partner to go along with as they represent our country on the global stage.”

In addition to offering the highest protection and trendy designs, Quek added that his team took protection, comfort, breath-ability, skin-friendliness and aesthetic design of masks as a primary consideration.
