Spreading festive goodwill with less fortunate children

The Curve shopping mall took the opportunity during the festive season to reach out to the less fortunate at Rumah Cahaya Kasih and Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah in giving back to society.

The mall management and employees gifted Rumah Cahaya Kasih with groceries, duit raya and buka puasa meals during the holy month of Ramadan.

20 children aged five and six and their three caretakers at the home were provided with meals by Me’nate Steak Hub, an eatery opening soon at the mall.

The Curve’s Raya community service for Malaysians in need aims to reflect togetherness and a sense of unity.

Boustead Properties Bhd property management and investment senior general manager Jazmi Kamarudin said giving back to the community during the holy month has been an annual activity for the Curve.

“This year we also wanted to reflect inclusivity through our Raya community service by including the needs of less fortunate non-Muslims in the spirit of Keluarga Malaysia.

“We are grateful that our contribution can make a difference and hope it brighten the festivities for those who are celebrating as everyone deserves to have a joyful Raya. It will also be more meaningful this year as the country heads into a nearly normal environment after two years of subdued festivities,” Kamarudin said.
