SJMC named best hospital company for the second year in a row

Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), Subang Jaya, Selangor, has been awarded as Malaysia Best Hospital Company of The Year for 2022 by Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Award for the second year in a row

Bryan Lin, chief executive officer of SJMC said the coveted award with a consecutive win is proven of the hospital’s commitment in providing clinical excellence, medical advancement and patient-centric care.

“This recognition would not have been possible without our dedicated team of medical professionals and staff who put our patients first,” he said.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents a Company of the Year award to the organization that demonstrates excellence in terms of growth strategy and implementation in its field.

The award recognizes a high degree of innovation with products and technologies and the resulting leadership in terms of customer value and market penetration.

“As a trusted name since 1985, we are proud to be a hospital of many firsts. In the private healthcare sector, SJMC conducted the first open heart surgery, stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, live-related paediatric liver transplant, and brain neurosurgery.

“Recently, we performed the first daycare total knee replacement surgery and achieved a milestone of 800 bone marrow transplants performed since 1999.

“We’ve also stamped another first in offering tomography services for efficient and high-precision cancer treatment as well as digital PET/CT services. This means better precision, reduced radiation, and shorter time for our patients,” added Lin.

SJMC’s selected rehabilitation services, such as physiotherapy and palliative care, are available for home care visits. Its teleconnect center provides 24-hour convenience of obtaining medical advisory services over the phone or through WhatsApp to improve customer service.
