PDRM offers 50% traffic summons discount

Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) is offering discounts of up to fifty per cent for selected traffic summons today.

The discount offers are given in conjunction with the road march of 215th Police Remembrance Day.

The counters are open until 6 pm today at Dataran Merdeka.

Discounts only for selected traffic summons

PDRM is is not offering discounts for the following traffic offences.

1. Red light offences
2. Driving in the emergency lane
3. Dangerous overtaking
4. Overtaking on doubles line
5. Accidents
6. Traffic cases currently pending in court
7. Non-compoundable offences
8. Lorry related summons
9. Exhaust modification.

215th Police Remembrance Day Activities

PDRM has organised many public activities in conjunction with the remembrance day.

Here is the list of other activities apart from the traffic compounds counter.

1. PDRM motorcycle show
2. Commando parachute jump
3. PDRM horse unit parade
4. Canine unit show

PDRM has also announced the closure of the following roads.

1. Jalan Kinabalu
2. Jalan Hishamuddin
3. Bulatan Dato’ Onn
4. Jalan Raja (Gereja)
5. Lebuh Pasar Besar
6. Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman

The public has been advised to use KTM, LRT or MRT to come to Dataran Merdeka.
