13 finalists vying for the Miss Plus World Malaysia 2022 crown

Thirteen finalists will be vying for the Miss Plus World Malaysia and Miss Plus Intercontinental Malaysia crown and title for 2022.

A total of 13 finalists will compete for the title of Miss Plus World Malaysia 2022.

Thirteen finalists will be vying for the Miss Plus World Malaysia and Miss Plus Intercontinental Malaysia crown and title for 2022.

Miss Plus World Malaysia (MPWM) revealed the finalists during the sashing session at the Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The grand finale will take place in Sunway Putra Hotel on December 10.

Following the grand finale, the winner will represent Malaysia at Miss Plus World 2023 in United States, August next year.

Elevating the stature

The pageantry promotes continuous physical and humanitarian activities, said MPWM executive national director Ziinine AS Britshi.

“We are dedicated to promoting, elevating and celebrating women’s accomplishments and humanitarian services across the country.

“We aim to create a sisterhood bond of confident and influential women who share their cultures and the world as they promote education, peace, wellness and worldwide appreciation of diversity.

“Our selected finalists will be the role models of equity, leadership, and elegance,” he said in a statement through a press release.

Four hundred applicants underwent national auditions between March and April this year.

Following this, thirteen applicants made it to the final list after strict pre-selections.

Finally, the finalists will undergo three months of intensive training to brush up on their public speaking, catwalk and styling. 

They will also learn about global diplomacy and peace, making community engagement and humanitarian work part of their preparation.

The finalists will also visit welfare homes and raise funds for selected Down Syndrome children and underprivileged homes.

Glam 22 will provide the finalists with evening gowns and accessories during the finals.
