AirAsia expands its partnership with Airbus to empower more underrepresented women in the digital sphere and increase their participation in the tech workforce through AirAsia Academy’s RatuTech campaign.

The #RatuTech programme aims to help females, especially from the B40 group, explore technology careers by reskilling and developing relevant, marketable and in-demand skills such as Digital Marketing, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure and others.

President (Ventures) Capital A & Chief Executive Officer Aireen Omar said the collaboration with major corporate entities like Airbus would allow more underprivileged women to acquire the right skill sets.

Aireen added: “We aim to transform the future of our tech talent pipeline continuously and RatuTech is a unique outreach programme which explores untapped talents from within the marginalised communities.

“This way, we can close the gender gap and revolutionise the region’s tech talent engine for IR 4.0.”
