Twin Celebrations for Breast Cancer Awareness month

Twin Celebrations for Breast Cancer Awareness month

Monz and the Breast Cancer Welfare Association work together to educate women in Malaysia against the taboo concerning breast examinations.

In collaboration with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA), Monz Beauty & Soul, a luxurious beauty salon, launched Monz’ Bust Perfecting Therapy today at Damansara Jaya.

Established in December 2008, this beauty salon shares similar responsibilities to BCWA when it comes to female beauty and how pulchritude is merely skin deep.

Ms Ranjit Kaur, President of the Breast Cancer Welfare Association cited that majority of the Malaysian women live in psychological and physical fear when it comes to arranging their breast examinations which will then lead to fatal breast cancer stages that are unavoidable.

With the current fast-paced lifestyle of a modern world, the need for relaxation, pampering and general well-being has become necessary –but so are breast examinations.

Apart from meeting the needs of the Monz customers, the beauty salon has also taken a step further in giving back to the society by announcing its official collaboration with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association by hosting a year-long fundraising campaign for BCWA as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

For this collaboration, Monz will be contributing 10% of its total annual sales to BCWA to help fund their ongoing projects or activities involving Breast Cancer patients.

In addition, Monz will also be hosting these breast cancer patients for a weekly Complimentary Beauty and Wellness Spa Experience for the duration of one month, to help them lower their stress levels during the period where they are battling the sickness.
