Glorious sendoff for the Emperor Gods

The nine-day festival ended on October 16, where all Taoists temples across Malaysia gave a grand sending off full of fireworks and large gatherings.

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival, which is also known as the Vegetarian Festival, came to an end recently after more than a week of spiritual celebration for Taoists all across Malaysia.

The festival, which is the holiest festival in the Taoist calendar, celebrates the arrival of the Nine Emperor Gods and ends by sending the Gods back via waterways.
