Guinness Malaysia officially opened Arthur’s Storehouse, the country’s first flagship outlet, in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.
The concept for the store was born during a meeting in 2019 between Roland and George Ang, the director of the Storehouse Project, with the goal of creating an experience similar to that of the Dublin Storehouse.
“The very first Guinness flagship outlet is designed to give Malaysian fans the Dublin Storehouse experience right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. For that, we are thrilled about this exclusive partnership created between Guinness Malaysia and Storehouse Project,” said Guinness Malaysia marketing manager Shaun Lim.
The elevated decor of the outlet includes a history wall, photography corner, a Guinness bar and dining area, as well as a lounge, all designed in the brand’s distinct colours and feel, similar to what one would find in Dublin.
Exclusive Guinness-infused dishes
Its unique selection of Guinness-infused foods, the first of its kind in Malaysia,, is what sets the outlet apart from other eateries.
Appetizers include BBQ hot wings glazed with homemade Guinness sauce, Guinness battered onion rings, and Guinness braised oxtail pork crackling. Arthur’s Storehouse serves classics like BBQ Guinness pork ribs and braised lamb shank, which pair well with Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.
Favourite Asian dishes such as Bulldog Hokkien Mee and Guinness Bak Kut Teh are also available. There are additional Guinness-infused delicacies for those with a sweet tooth.
Stout fans will enjoy the Guinness-infused cocktail menu, which includes classics like the ‘Black Velvet,’ ‘St James Gate,’ and the ‘Guinnesstini.’
Merchandise imported from Dublin Storehouse
Guinness collectibles imported from Dublin Storehouse including Guinness glassware, gift sets, mugs, playing cards, puzzles, magnets, keyrings, and bottle openers are among the exclusive merchandise available. Guinness sauces, chocolates, fudge, and truffles are also available for purchase.
Patrons who are interested to learn how to pour the ideal glass of stout can join the Guinness Academy at discounted fees. Can take home a customised Guinness glass with their name engraved on it. They will get a chance to take home a personalised Guinness glass with their name inscribed on it.
“This year has been remarkable for Guinness as we’ve been able to bring numerous sensorial experiences for the lovers of our brews, all while they learn more about the rich history and the magic behind them.” Shaun Lim said.
