Eight-time German champions Borussia Dortmund (BVB), are all set to visit Southeast Asia during the Bundesliga winter break. The Asia Tour 2022 will kick off with friendly matches between BVB and top teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
BVB will face defending Singapore Premier League (SPL) champions Lion City Sailors at Singapore’s Jalan Besar Stadium on Thursday, 24th November.
Malaysia’s Johor Southern Tigers (JDT) will then host BVB on November 28 for an international club friendly at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Johor.
The tour will conclude on November 30th with a friendly match between the Bundesliga giants and the Vietnamese National Team at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium.
BVB’s rising star, Alexander Meyer said that he is anticipating a tough match with JDT.
“We know that BVB is a huge club also in Asia; we have many fans there, and we will have a tough game, we will play hard and enjoy the game.” Alex said.
