Malaysian action thriller film by Ben G finally hits the big screen

Aadhitya Arunachalam, Ben G’s directorial debut, is about a police officer who fights to keep a group of teenagers from using drugs.

Aadhitya Arunachalam, the long-awaited Malaysian action thriller film, hits theatres today. The Tamil language film is directed by the mastermind, Ganteeban, also known as Ben G.

Ben G is one of Malaysia’s most well-known local filmmakers, recognized to be an incredible storyteller when it comes to crafting ideal narratives involving the Malaysian Indian community.

He has been working in this industry for almost 25 years, primarily appearing in Malay, Tamil, and English films and shows throughout his career. He is well-known for his versatility as an actor, scriptwriter, producer, and host not just in Malaysia but also in India. Aadhitya Arunachalam is the first Malaysian feature film directed by Ben G.

The film’s plot revolves around a police officer who battles to keep a group of teenagers from using drugs. The cast members of Aadhitya Arunachalam includes prominent artists sucha as Gaffar, Ben G, Banumathi, Mcva, Aghoderan, Shamini, Lingeswaran, Kogila, Ruben, Vijay, Kavi and more.

Gaffar, who is well-known for his efforts as a restaurant owner and for his commitment to sending a positive message to society, was given the opportunity to make his film debut as the main lead hero. Banumathi, who has co-starred in a number of Astro shows, made her acting debut in this film as the lead actress.

The movie, which has an 1 hour, 59 minute runtime, will be released in Tamil language in Malaysia and Singapore. The film will be released with 2D motion graphics and a PG-13 rating. The songs from Aadhitya Arunachalam are composed by a music director from India with the production work was completed in India.

Dato AK, a Malaysian entrepreneur from Klang, is the producer of Aadhitya Arunachalam. He is well-known for his significant contributions to the Indian community in Malaysia, especially during the pandemic.

Dato AK has stated in a press statement that a portion of the film’s profits will be used to support Tamil primary schools in Malaysia. He has also urged Indians from Malaysia and Singapore to watch this film in theaters and contribute to charities as well.

This movie will be released by Frame Focus, with Poketplay Films serving as the distributor to have it shown in theatres in Malaysia and Singapore. Aadhitya Arunachalam will be available for viewing at the nearby cinemas starting today.
