A 29-year-old account executive from Seri Kembangan in Selangor received a brand-new Proton X50 1.5 executive SUV after winning the grand prize in IK Yellow’s Scantastic Promotion Draw.
Malaysian paper brand IK Yellow, ran a Buy, Scan & Win “Scantastic Promo” draw from August 1, 2022, to January 31, 2023. Ms. Wong Wan Er, the winner of the draw held on February 18, 2023, at the Proton headquarters in Subang Jaya, was both surprised and elated.

When I first heard about this competition, I remember asking my friends and family to buy IK Yellow paper, so that they would have a chance of winning the grand prize. I never thought that I would be the one to win it. Thank you so much IK Yellow for the grand prize, I will continue supporting this quality paper brand.’’ Ms Wong said.
Ms. Wong revealed that her parents were concerned about her travelling without a car after she registered her marriage last year. But thanks to IK Yellow, this concern is now over. She continues by saying that the family can now travel more easily and frequently thanks to her new car.
“Scantastic Promo” draw
To take part, participants had to purchase two reams of one of the following from authorised resellers: IK Yellow A4 70g 500s, IK Yellow A4 80g 500s, IK Yellow A4 70g 450s, or IK Yellow A4 80g 450s.
IK Yellow created and distributed special promotional wrappers for its products containing a specific code for entry into the competition. The contest was open to anyone residing in Malaysia. Over 500 lucky customers won prizes worth up to RM260,000 (USD 58,000), including:
- Grand prize [1 winner] – Proton X50 1.5 Executive worth over RM95,000 (USD 22,000)
- Second prize [10 winners] – Samsung S22 Ultra worth RM5,499 (USD 1,200)
- Monthly Prize [50 winners x 6 months] – RM200 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit
- Consolation Prize [200 winners] – RM200 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit
