RM50k windfall for Sri Subramaniar Temple, Sunway

Hannah Yeoh, the ADUN from Subang Jaya,  presented a RM50k cheque to the Sri Subramaniar Temple in PJS7, Bandar Sunway being a contribution from the Selangor State Government for the temple and kindergarten building fund.

The cheque presentation was held in conjunction with a Fund Raising Dinner organised by the temple at the SRJ(C)Chee Wen, Bandar Sunway on the 18^th Feb 2012.

YB Hannah Yeoh commented that a temple is more that a house of prayer,  it can also be a centre for community service.  She quoted the case of Masjid Alfalah in PJS9 which has teamed up with some private doctors to provide affordable health care at a rate of RM5 to residents in Bandar Sunway and Subang Jaya.
