KC Global Media, Asia’s leading entertainment network and multi-channel operator, has announced a deal with Malaysia’s largest integrated media and entertainment conglomerate, Media Prima, to bring premium Japanese drama, variety, and anime onboard its video streaming app, Tonton.
Through this agreement, more than 400,000 users on Tonton can now access an endless stream of Japanese content through linear and video on-demand (VOD) titles available from KC Global Media’s Japanese anime channel, Animax, and Japanese entertainment channel, GEM. Animax and GEM will be available through the platform’s TontonUp premium subscription service, with pricing starting from as low as RM7 per month.
