MYAirline: Bangkok is the first international destination

MYAirline aims to cater to the increasing demand for travel between the two cities. One-way fares for these flights start from RM99.

MYAirline, the new low-cost carrier, is expanding its services to include international destinations, starting with Bangkok. The airline will begin offering flights to the capital city of Thailand from Kuala Lumpur starting late next month.

Flights from KLIA Terminal 2 to Suvarnabhumi International Airport will commence on June 28, 2023. Additionally, MYAirline will also provide flights to Don Mueang International Airport, another airport in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, starting from July 1. This expansion offers travellers more options for convenient travel to Bangkok.

Signalling the start of Phase 2 of the airline’s expansion plans, it comes at the right time when tourism demand is increasing. Offering an experience like no other on its Airbus A320-200 aircraft, international passengers can now travel with ample legroom and comfort and receive MYAirline’s signature warm hospitality from our ground and aircrew.

Initially, there will be one daily flight per route between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. However, starting from August 17, the frequency will double, providing passengers with up to four daily flights in each direction.

To celebrate the launch of the new routes, MYAirline is introducing a zero-base fare campaign. This campaign, similar to the earlier promotion for local destinations, allows passengers to enjoy attractive discounts.

Unlike before, this time MYAirline is offering up to 12,000 seats. The reservation period for this campaign is limited, running from May 10 to May 12, with travel dates available from June 28 to October 28.

MYAirline is a low-cost carrier established in 2021, based in Malaysia. The airline operates primarily from KLIA2, the low-cost carrier terminal of Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and is headquartered in Subang Jaya, Selangor. MYAirline commenced its inaugural flight to Kuching International Airport on December 1, 2022. MYAirline is primarily owned by Zillion Wealth Bhd (88%), Trillion Cove Holdings Bhd (10%), and CEO Rayner Teo Kheng Hock (2%).
