Malaysia is an essential country for GAC Motor’s strategic layout in the ASEAN market. In December 2021, Malaysia became the first country to launch the GS3, the first right-hand drive model from GAC Motor.

Over the next five years, GAC Motor plans to complete its product matrix of right-hand drive models in the country to meet the growing demands of Malaysian consumers with the support of WTCA.

The auto brand also plans to open its first Malaysia flagship store in the third quarter of 2023. The successful launch of the CKD project will be an important milestone in GAC Motor’s internationalization process.
