This campaign aims to help guests discover their own personal moments of joy within the enchanting world of Shangri-La.
The initial phase of the campaign features a captivating brand film that celebrates the hotel’s commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences through personalized and authentic service.
Unveiling the captivating brand film
To bring the essence of “Find Your Shangri-La” to life, Shangri-La collaborated with GRAMMY award-winning director Dave Meyers.
The brand film showcases whimsical characters representing different guest personas and chronicles their journey to finding happiness at various Shangri-La properties. Through unexpected moments of personalized and authentic service, the film highlights the delightful hospitality experiences offered at each hotel.
Chairman Hui Kuok emphasizes that each guest has a unique interpretation of “Find Your Shangri-La.” He explains that the campaign aims to capture the essence of Shangri-La’s rich legacy of delighting customers and bringing them joyful moments through warm and authentic hospitality.
The brand film serves as a tribute to the extraordinary ways in which Shangri-La creates special moments and treats for its guests. With an array of immersive experiences, the campaign aims to elevate the overall brand experience.
Director Dave Meyers describes Shangri-La as more than a physical place—it’s a state of mind and a magical world to get lost in. He expresses his excitement about exploring what “Shangri-La” means to modern travellers and the inspiration he found throughout the filmmaking process.
Find Your Shangri-La with exclusive drinks and menus
As part of the “Find Your Shangri-La” campaign, Shangri-La has curated exclusive menus inspired by Chinese and regional Asian cuisines.
Each menu reflects the local culinary culture of the hotel, offering guests a chance to savour unexpected flavours and presentations that bring moments of joy. These special menus will be available from the campaign’s launch until August 13, 2023.
To further enhance the dining experience, Shangri-La has crafted a collection of imaginative cocktails and mocktails inspired by the campaign theme.
From now until December 31, 2023, guests can indulge in three #FindYourShangriLa cocktails: the Daydreamer, Taste of Eden, and the Sky is the Limit. Accompanied by the brand film’s theme song, “Over the Rainbow,” guests can sip these delightful concoctions and immerse themselves in the campaign’s spirit.
Additionally, members of Shangri-La Circle, the brand’s contemporary travel and lifestyle platform, can enjoy a complimentary #FindYourShangriLa cocktail on Members’ Day, held on the sixth day of each month.
