International football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo made a memorable visit to Singapore on 2nd – 3rd June 2023. Ronaldo’s visit aims to support a series of youth scholarships created by his longtime friend and philanthropist Peter Lim.

Ronaldo’s visit to Singapore is centred around supporting various youth scholarships initiated by philanthropist Peter Lim.

One of these scholarships is the NParks-Peter Lim Scholarship, aimed at assisting underprivileged youths in pursuing their interests and developing skills in sectors such as landscaping, horticulture, ecology, veterinary science, and animal science.

Ronaldo joined the scholarship recipients from the Institute of Technical Education for a memorable group photo at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Additionally, Ronaldo will be meeting approximately 1,000 youths in support of the Singapore Olympic Foundation (SOF)-Peter Lim Scholarship, further emphasizing his commitment to empowering the younger generation.

As part of his involvement with the NParks-Peter Lim Scholarship, Cristiano Ronaldo will share insights into his #BeSIUPER mindset with over 200 scholarship beneficiaries.

He will emphasize the importance of sustainability awareness and the protection of the natural environment. Ronaldo’s dedication to environmental causes dates back to 2013 when he became an ambassador for the Mangrove Care Forum in Bali, Indonesia.

On 3rd June, Ronaldo met over 1,000 youths in support of the Singapore Olympic Foundation (SOF)-Peter Lim Scholarship.

During this event, Ronaldo will encourage young individuals to pursue their passions and adopt a growth mindset towards learning.
