The unveiling took place at The Agam, a vintage-themed mansion in Kuala Lumpur, where Juan Aranols, CEO of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, emphasized the brand’s commitment to celebrating Malaysia’s culinary heritage.
This new offering promises an authentic taste and distinctive aroma that captures the essence of Laksa.

Professor Dr Shahrim Karim, a prominent figure in Malaysian heritage food and culture, highlighted Laksa’s origins in the Peranakan community, blending Chinese, Malaysian, and Indonesian influences.
From the popular Curry Laksa to regional specialities like Assam Laksa, Sarawak Laksa, Nyonya Laksa, and Johor Laksa, Laksa has evolved into a culinary delight that transcends cultures and regions.
The key to a perfect Laksa lies in the balance of vibrant flavours and the art of achieving the “pecah minyak” stage during the cooking process.
MAGGI Mi Goreng Laksa Warisan – A creative twist on tradition
With the growing trend of preparing Laksa in the “Goreng” (fried) style, MAGGI introduces the All-New MAGGI Mi Goreng Laksa Warisan.

The new creation carefully blends aromatic ingredients such as bunga kantan, daun kesum, and galangal, along with fresh ingredients like onions, kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, garlic, and ginger.
These ingredients are slowly cooked into a paste until the “pecah minyak” stage, ensuring the distinctive flavour of Laksa while preserving its authentic recipe.
