National Robothon Challenge: Igniting robotics innovation

The 19th edition of the National Robothon Challenge (NROC) in Malaysia encourages robotics enthusiasts to think beyond Earth and innovate solutions for space colonisation.

National Robothon Challenge: Igniting robotics innovation

The National Robothon Challenge (NROC) is back this September, aiming to foster local robotics innovation and talent to tackle real-world challenges.

Presented by STEM edutainment academy 5T3M, multiverse-based learning developers Leanbot, and Lenovo Malaysia, this 19th edition of NROC embraces the Ministry of Education’s digital-first initiatives and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation’s #mydigital-maker project.

The theme, “Second Earth: Space Colonisation,” will challenge participants to use robotics in building settlements and harnessing natural resources in simulated space environments. The competition not only stimulates creativity and critical thinking but also prepares the champions to represent Malaysia at the International Robothon 2024 in Thailand.
