It has been a year since the programme was initiated in Selangor.

According to state local government committee chairman Ronnie Liu, under the Zon Bersih (Clean Zone) programme, the dirtiest places in each municipality in Selangor are chosen and a one-year period is given for these to be turned into the cleanest place in the municipality.
