UOB Malaysia’s UOB Heartbeat Run/Walk raises a record RM2 million for local charities, uniting over 5,000 participants for a meaningful cause.

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd (UOB Malaysia) proudly announced the tremendous success of its annual UOB Heartbeat Run/Walk, having raised an astounding RM2 million for charitable causes. The event, held on Sunday, August 27th, brought together over 5,000 UOB Malaysia colleagues, their families, and friends, showcasing their unwavering commitment to building a more inclusive society and supporting local communities.

The 16th edition of the UOB Heartbeat Run/Walk proved to be a resounding success, breaking records by raising RM2 million in funds. These funds will be directed towards supporting various local beneficiaries dedicated to social development and community upliftment. The five beneficiaries that will benefit from this generous contribution include World Vision Malaysia, HOPE worldwide Malaysia, Food Aid Foundation, SOLS 24/7, and Special Olympics Malaysia.

The participants gathered at The Arc @ Rimbayu, showing their dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need. They were met with the option of either participating in a challenging ten-kilometer race or taking part in a fun-filled four-kilometer family walk, all for a noble cause.
