The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023, a vibrant event hosted by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd in partnership with MyShoppo Sdn Bhd, unfolded on the grand stage of the Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
This dazzling spectacle, which took place on the October 13th, showcased 18 remarkable finalists. Beyond beauty, this pageant emphasised culture, tourism, and friendship, aligning with the mission of promoting local tourism.
The spirit of Malaysia’s beauty and hospitality
Leading up to the National Final Coronation Night, the 18 finalists engaged in diverse activities that celebrated the cultural tapestry of Malaysia.
These activities included exploring Coach Airways, experiencing the enchanting Safari Wonderland, and being captivated by the lush scenery of King’s Park Genting Highlands. T
As part of their commitment to community and compassion, the finalists participated in charity visits to the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society and the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund.
Miss Malaysia Tourism’s 18 outstanding finalists
The pinnacle of the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023, the National Final, was graced by the presence of YM Dr. Raja Putra Shah, Advisor of the International Entrepreneur Chamber Malaysia.
This extraordinary evening saw 18 outstanding finalists competing for three prestigious titles – Miss Malaysia Tourism 2023, Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2023, and Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2023.
The top three winners were announced, with Jen Cheang Shi Hui crowned as Miss Malaysia Tourism 2023, Joanne Clare Deaves as Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2023, and Shelyn Poh as Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2023.
These remarkable winners received coveted crowns, cash prizes, sponsored gifts with a total value of RM117,000, and scholarships from Peninsula College worth RM25,000 for eligible finalists meeting specific entry requirements.
Beside that, there also have 8 additional subsidiary titles, each adopted by the sponsors. They are:
