Malaysian music enthusiasts and fans of live music are in for a treat as a concert featuring 100 exceptional popular musicians in 20 yesteryear live bands is set to rock the stage, this December.

The Musicians for Musicians Benefit Concert, organized by Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia in collaboration with Brickfields Asia College (BAC) and Asia Wings Resources Sdn. Bhd, is set to be an unforgettable musical extravaganza,

This remarkable event, which was originally scheduled for 2020 but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Barrister’s Hall in Menara BAC.

It promises to deliver beloved hits and take the audience on a nostalgic trip back in time with the iconic sounds of the 70s and 80s, courtesy of Music Buddies.

The concert lineup is nothing short of stellar, with renowned bands including Alleycats, Lord Justice, Sons of Adam, Stag, Strollers, and many more taking the stage to rock Malaysian music lovers.

But that’s not all. The event will also feature additional musical talents such as Michael Veerappan & Trio (featuring Dasha Logan), Dato Leonard Tan, Bala, JAMMERZ, Union Band, 5 Ways, Small Stones, Jerry Arul, Plain Seven, Royston Sta Maria, NRG, 9 Lives, Heavy Machine, Plain Sevan, Winston Leo, and many other gifted artists.

Adding even more star power to the occasion, musical icons Pak Sheikh Arab, Vijay David, Sarah Dickman, and Leasim will grace the stage to perform the theme song “Pesona Harapan.” This touching composition comes from the skilled pen of veteran Malaysian singer-songwriter Royston Sta Maria.

While the event promises a night of musical magic, it also serves a noble purpose. All proceeds from the concert will go directly to Persatuan Pemuzik Malaysia, a not-for-profit association dedicated to improving the lives of musicians working in clubs, hotels, and pubs.
