The grand opening of Arthur’s Storehouse second outlet at Pavilion Bukit Jalil was marked by a thrilling performance from Pavel Sfera, a world-renowned U2’s Bono tribute artist.
Inspired by Dublin’s famous Storehouse, Arthur’s Storehouse aims to bring the Guinness experience to stout enthusiasts in Malaysia, with live music adding to the festive atmosphere.
Rocking with Bono’s doppelganger
The launch event featured Pavel Sfera, a striking Bono lookalike, who serenaded the crowd with a medley of hits from U2, including “With or Without You,” “One,” and “Desire.”
Dressed as the Irish rock superstar with his trademark sunglasses, Pavel’s performance electrified attendees, creating a truly immersive U2 experience.
In attendance at the event was Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Ireland to Malaysia, Frank Bradley, who commended Arthur’s Storehouse and Heineken Malaysia for bringing the Guinness experience to Malaysia.
He noted that this initiative provides Malaysians with a unique window into one of Ireland’s most celebrated brands.
Arthur’s Storehouse exclusive partnership
The second Arthur’s Storehouse outlet launch coincides with the first anniversary of the exclusive partnership between HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad and Arthur’s Storehouse.
According to Roland Bala, Managing Director of HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad, the concept behind Arthur’s Storehouse is to offer Malaysian consumers an immersive experience into the rich heritage of the Guinness brand.
The menu at Arthur’s Storehouse includes exclusive Guinness-infused dishes, such as BBQ Hot Wings Glazed with Homemade Guinness Sauce and Guinness Braised Lamb Shank, which pair perfectly with the iconic stout or Guinness-infused cocktails available.
Visitors can also explore the precision of Guinness’ roasting process, which gives the stout its distinctive taste and ruby-red hue at 232°C. Special rates are available for those interested in mastering the art of pouring the perfect Guinness glass with expert guidance and a customised glass with their name engraved on it.
