KUALA LUMPUR, April 5 (Bernama) — A robber shot dead an injured accomplice before fleeing with RM500,000 worth of jewellery in a robbery at a goldsmith shop at Plaza OUG, Puchong, here Monday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman believed that it was a desperate move by the robber concerned to prevent the injured accomplice from providing information to the police should he be arrested.
