Iconic tourist attractions, including GL Play by Gamuda Lands, A’Famosa Resort Melaka, Sunway Lagoon, Sunway Lost World of Tambun, ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre, and Grand Ion Delemen Hotel in Genting Highlands, were highlighted.

The 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Vietnam has further catalyzed tourism, with a significant surge in recent years.

Madam Nor Hayati Zainuddin, Director of Tourism Malaysia in Vietnam, expressed optimism: “We hope travel agents actively support promoting Malaysia as a safe, affordable, and preferred destination.”

Batik Air, operating direct flights from Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur, presented attractive promotional fares to enhance travel options.

Malaysia’s ambitious tourism target for 2023, aiming for 16.1 million international tourist arrivals and RM49.2 billion in tourism receipts, aligns with the expectation of exponential growth from the Vietnamese market and the wider Southeast Asia region.
