Visit Melaka Year launched with exclusive discounts

The Melaka government kicked off the “Visit Melaka Year 2024” with an enticing offer for visitors. Starting January 1, 2024, tourists can enjoy discounts of up to 55% at 28 popular tourist spots.

The Melaka discount voucher 2024

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh revealed the exciting news of the “Visit Melaka Year” campaign, introducing the Melaka Discount Voucher 2024, Melaka Hari Ini reported.

Valid until December 31, 2024, this voucher opens the door to substantial discounts at selected locations, making Melaka an even more appealing travel destination.

The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing the overall tourism experience in the state.

New attractions and diversified experiences

The Chief Minister emphasized the state’s dedication to introducing new attractions, expanding the tourism landscape.

Notable additions include the Melaka River Floating Market, Eco Cruise on Sungai Linggi, and the Melaka Car Free Zone.

These offerings aim to diversify tourism options, presenting visitors with a broader spectrum of experiences during their visit to Melaka.

The official launch of “Visit Melaka Year 2024” was marked at the “TMM2024 & New Year’s Eve Countdown” event at Dataran Pengkalan Rama.

The event, attended by Governor Tun Seri Setia Mohd Ali Rustam, signifies the beginning of a year-long celebration of Melaka’s heritage and tourism offerings.

Melaka is wrapping up the year with two major events: the Visit Melaka Year 2024 Countdown at Dataran Pengkalan Rama and the COHEX Colourful Christmas Night & Happy New Year celebration at The Sail Melaka.

Attendees witnessed hot air balloon experience, live performances by local artists, and a spectacular fireworks display, creating an unforgettable holiday atmosphere for tourists and locals alike.

The floating stage on the Melaka River adds a picturesque touch to the festivities, setting the stage for a memorable celebration.
