The highly anticipated Kuala Lumpur Warehouse Project (KLWP) is set to return for its third edition on January 26th and 27th, 2024, promising a grand celebration of electronic dance music (EDM) at the KL Base Sungei Besi in Bandar Malaysia.
Following the overwhelming success of the first two editions in 2023, KLWP 3.0 is poised to be even more spectacular, attracting music enthusiasts from across Malaysia and the region. The move to the larger venue is a strategic step to accommodate the expected surge in attendees, with projections indicating that at least 10,000 revelers will grace the event over the two days.
KLWP 3.0, organized by Leo Global Link Sdn Bhd, boasts a stellar lineup featuring eight international DJ acts, headlined by world #16 progressive trance duo W&W from The Netherlands. Other renowned acts include Swedish progressive house DJ Kaaze, Swedish duo Dada Life, French Techno DJ Nico Moreno, Spanish Techno DJ Fatima Hajji, Russian dance music duo Zapravka, Romanian techno DJ Nusha, and Dutch Hardstyle producer duo Sub Zero Project, who will present their Psychedelic-themed live act show for the first time in Asia.
KLWP 3.0 unveils larger venue and massive lineup
The festival’s director, Faizal Baba, highlighted the significant changes for the upcoming edition, stating, “KLWP 3.0 will not only be held outdoors, but at a larger venue to ensure a more festival-like atmosphere. It is expected to draw at least 10,000 revelers over the two days.”
In a groundbreaking move, the festival will feature the world’s first use of the newly launched 120 Watt laser, capable of projecting up to 5km. Faizal shared, “We not only intend to make KLWP a musically engaging festival, we aim to make it a visually invigorating experience for all attendees.”
Adding to the excitement, Sub Zero Project will present their live Psychedelic show featuring a combination of four genres – Rawstyle, Uptempo, Hard Tech, and Raw Kick – for the very first time in Asia. Zapravka, the Russian social media sensations, will also perform for the first time outside their home country.
KLWP’s CEO, Dato’ Muthalagan, expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the media and assured the public that all necessary permits for the event have been secured, ensuring a smooth and hiccup-free experience.
