WMV launches ‘Angpow for Education’ to support underserved children

As the Lunar New Year approaches, World Vision Malaysia introduces a heartwarming initiative, the “Angpow for Education,” providing a unique opportunity for Malaysians to extend the spirit of generosity and bring lasting benefits to underserved children.

This special red packet is designed to make a meaningful impact by equipping children with essential stationery, educational resources, and access to trained teachers. The initiative, spearheaded by World Vision Malaysia, aims to not only bring prosperity and happiness to the children but also to break the cycle of poverty that often plagues vulnerable families.

The “Angpow for Education” is a gesture that extends beyond the joyous festivities, offering a gift that nurtures knowledge and, in the long run, uplifts entire communities. Child Sponsorship PLUS Programme

World Vision Malaysia encourages those considering ongoing support to explore the Child Sponsorship PLUS Programme. This initiative allows individuals to simultaneously sponsor a child in some of the world’s most vulnerable areas while contributing to the well-being of fellow Malaysians. Funds from the programme will also be directed to the Malaysia Assistance Fund, dedicated to supporting children and fostering child-related development initiatives within the country.

It gives Malaysians the opportunity to be involved with marginalized communities at both the international and local levels. This Lunar New Year, World Vision Malaysia encourages everyone to extend their generosity to underserved communities, both at home and abroad, for a truly prosperous and meaningful celebration. The first 100 individuals to donate an “Angpow for Education” of at least RM188 will receive a set of limited edition World Vision angpow packets (8 pieces). This offer is open to residents of Malaysia only.
