In response to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and recognizing the heightened risk of viral infections in enclosed workplaces, Alpro Group has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Panasonic Malaysia.

The strategic partnership aims to bolster air quality for patrons and employees by implementing Panasonic’s nanoe™X technology across all Alpro outlets and its headquarters.

Acknowledging that safety goes beyond conventional practices such as masks and sanitizers, Alpro Group has shifted its focus towards improving indoor air quality (IAQ). T

his initiative aligns with the company’s latest tagline, “Reassurance that brings Smiles.” Chief Pharmacist Ph. Lim En Ni emphasised the importance of customer assurance, starting from the moment patrons enter any Alpro outlet.

The goal is to provide a safe environment, including the air they breathe, fostering confidence in engaging with Alpro’s diverse team of professionals.

Lim En Ni stated, “By providing them peace of mind when visiting Alpro outlets, they could freely engage with our team of professionals from doctors to pharmacists, to dietitians & nutritionists, to physio-therapists, to beauty advisors.”

The nanoe™X technology adopted by Alpro Pharmacy introduces a new standard in air quality. It offers a shield of safety and comfort by deodorizing spaces and suppressing pathogenic microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, viruses, molds, and allergens.

This technology aims to create a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for patrons and employees.

Atsushi Yoshida, Country Head of Life Solutions at Panasonic Malaysia, highlighted the shared mission of Panasonic and Alpro Group, emphasising their commitment to enriching lives and ensuring the safety of individuals.

He stated, “Our unique technology and solutions not only keep buildings well-ventilated, cool, and clean but with efficient energy usage.”
