The main court on the ground floor has been transformed into a breathtaking garden adorned with plum blossoms, promising to captivate all who visit.

The Chinese New Year Talent Contest at Ipoh Parade provided a platform for individuals and groups to showcase their artistic flair in alignment with the New Year theme.

To enhance the picturesque scene, lanterns are hung on the plum blossom trees, casting a warm and inviting glow over the garden.

These lanterns symbolise reunion and celebrations, adding to the magical atmosphere of the setting.

Ipoh Parade advertising and promotions manager Lim Huey Tyng emphasised the significance of these decorations, stating, “These lanterns illuminate the garden with a warm and inviting glow, shining forth in hope for a brighter and more successful year ahead.”

In addition to the stunning decorations, Ipoh Parade has lined up a host of activities for visitors to enjoy, including lion dance performances, balloon giveaways, and appearances by the God of Prosperity.

A Chinese New Year Talent Contest was also held recently, showcasing the diverse talents of participants.

With a total of 50 participants, ranging from 7-year-old Lee Ze Xuan to 40-year-old Jack Wong, the competition brought together talent from across the region.

Performances ranged from traditional Chinese New Year songs to innovative singing and dancing acts, as well as unconventional displays of diabolo and magic.
