Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh made a significant announcement via a Facebook post on February 12.

He revealed that the Melaka State Government, in collaboration with Perbadanan Pembangunan Sungai Dan Pantai Melaka (PPSPM), will offer complimentary access to the Melaka River Cruise.

With the provision of 15 boats, each capable of accommodating 40 tourists, visitors will have the opportunity to embark on a memorable journey along Melaka’s historic waterways.

“This promotion is exclusive to Malaysian citizens, who are required to present their MyKad/MyKid and scan a QR code provided at the boarding points,” Ab Rauf emphasised.

“Each MyKad/MyKid holder is eligible for one free boat ride. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to don national attire, reflecting the spirit of national pride.”

Seow Cheng Swee, the Chief Executive Officer of Melaka Wonderland and Theme Park, highlighted the offerings, including free admission and a 20 percent discount on indoor activities.

“We have prepared prizes for stage games, mascot performances, water poco-poco exercises, and many more,” Seow Cheng Swee mentioned.

“On February 20, visitors can enjoy a variety of games and activities, including the Kamikaze Racer and Aqua Zumba Wave Pool. The light party zone will also be open in the evening for added entertainment.”
