Naza Eastern Motors Sdn. Bhd. has unveiled two much-anticipated variants of the iconic Suzuki Jimny – the Rainforest and the Black Edition. These special editions are set to captivate the hearts of Suzuki enthusiasts, promising an exhilarating ownership experience.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Naza Eastern Motors organized a memorable Jimny Lifestyle Drive, attracting more than 30 enthusiastic Jimny owners. The convoy drive, flagged off by Naza Automotive Group Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Rizal Jailan, commenced at the Suzuki Cars showroom in Petaling Jaya.
Mr. Rizal emphasized the strategic focus on profitable niche models in line with automotive industry trends. “The launch of the Jimny Rainforest and Black Edition emphasizes our commitment to providing vehicles that embody quality, reliability, and style,” he said. Mr. Rizal added that the SUV market in Malaysia has witnessed significant growth in the past decade, making the Jimny and Swift Sport the focal points of their lineup.
The Rainforest Edition and Black Edition, priced at MYR 168,900 and MYR 171,900 (before insurance), were presented by Naza Eastern Motors’ Chief Operating Officer, Mohamad Irwan Shahril. Both variants boast distinctive design elements with trims and accessories tailored for the Malaysian market.
Powerful performance and advanced safety features
Powered by a 1.5L engine capable of producing 101 horsepower, the efficient drivetrain is paired with an ALLGRIP PRO 4WD System, 4-speed low-range transfer gear, and LSD Traction Control braking system, providing power, safety, and control for drivers.
The Rainforest Edition features a multi-roof rack, camouflage-finished front grill, front and rear mud flaps, and body decals. Its interior is equipped with matching camouflage garnish on various elements, creating an enticing atmosphere for off-road enthusiasts.
On the other hand, the Black Edition showcases a multi-roof rack, carbon-finished spare tire cover, and a matching carbon-finished front grill. The interior exudes style with features such as audio garnish bumper, inside door handle cover, assistant grip cover, and carpet floor mat. Buyers of the Black Edition will enjoy a free upgrade to 2-tone Nappa Leather seats. Door visors and mud flaps are included in both models.
