In a powerful collaboration, Triple I Production House and Leadspire Academy present “The Price of Silence,” a poignant theatre production that aims to shed light on the profound impact of bullying in Malaysian society. Drawing inspiration from real-life cases over the past decade, this production serves as a compelling vehicle to raise awareness and provoke thought on the consequences of remaining silent in the face of bullying.
Under the visionary direction of Soonufat Supramaniam, affectionately known as Sir Soon, and the creative guidance of Jason Ong, “The Price of Silence” brings together a talented cast of performers who have undergone rigorous training through the Youth Theatre Training Programme offered by both institutions. Sir Soon, the founder of Leadspire Academy and a passionate advocate for performing arts education, contributes a wealth of experience and expertise to this impactful production. His commitment to unlocking the creative potential of Malaysian youth through theatre has been recognized with accolades such as the Teach For Malaysia’s YTL Transformational Teaching Award.
After months of dedicated preparation, these young actors are poised to showcase their talents in a series of performances scheduled from March 15th to 17th at the iBOX Theatre, Sunny Point Complex.
