Nestlé KitKat’s Ramadan campaign partners with EPIC Homes to uplift Orang Asli communities with funds for home repairs and essential resources.

In a bid to spread joy and make a positive impact during Ramadan, Nestlé KitKat has launched its KitKat Rezeki Dikongsi Bersama campaign, focusing on uplifting the Orang Asli communities in Malaysia. Collaborating with EPIC Homes, the renowned chocolate brand has allocated RM172,000 to address urgent needs, particularly targeting households affected by overcrowding.

Dato’ Adnan Pawanteh, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, expressed his delight during a recent visit to Kampung Orang Asli Songkok, highlighting the significance of this partnership with EPIC Homes. “We are pleased to extend the joy of KitKat through meaningful community outreach initiatives, particularly in our collaboration with EPIC Homes for the coming Raya celebration.” stated Dato’ Adnan, emphasizing the purposeful impact on the lives of those in need.

The initiative includes various forms of support, including home repairs, community upskilling, and provision of essential resources. KitKat’s contribution encompasses the repair of homes in Kampung Orang Asli Songkok and Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Kelubi, Selangor, addressing issues such as leaking roofs and structural concerns.
