“Ramadhan Rays of Care” initiative brightens spirits at National Cancer Institute

MyCEB’s ‘Ramadhan Rays of Care’ initiative at the National Cancer Institute uplifts spirits, fostering unity and compassion in the community.

The 14th edition of the MyCSR programme, themed “Ramadhan Rays of Care,” culminated in a heartfelt gesture at the National Cancer Institute, orchestrated by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Malaysia. This event served as a poignant display of empathy and solidarity during the sacred month of Ramadan.

The initiative, a testament to MyCEB’s ongoing dedication to community engagement, aimed to uplift the morale of cancer patients and the medical staff while fostering a sense of unity within the community. Thirteen officers from MyCEB distributed gift hampers containing nutritious snacks to 100 patients and 30 medical professionals during the visit.

Mr. Azman Haji Tambi Chik, CEO of MyCEB, expressed profound gratitude for the spirit of compassion and unity exhibited during the event. He reiterated MyCEB’s commitment to community welfare and emphasized the significance of supporting those in need, especially during challenging times such as battling cancer.
