FBS’s Ramadan relief efforts reach over 900 families

In a heartwarming display of compassion and solidarity, FBS, a leading global broker, has joined hands with Malaysian charities Dignity for Children Foundation and SUKA Society to extend crucial support to vulnerable families across the nation during the sacred month of Ramadan. Through their concerted efforts, over 900 families have received vital assistance, marking a significant stride in addressing food insecurity and fostering resilience within communities.

Mr. Aizzat Arfa, Official Representative of FBS in Malaysia, expressed gratitude towards the collaborative endeavors, emphasizing the transformative impact of their joint efforts. This year, their philanthropic endeavors have been directed towards Malaysia, with monetary contributions aiding Dignity for Children Foundation and SUKA Society in organizing on-site Ramadan gift-giving initiatives.

The contributions from FBS have been instrumental in providing essential grocery packages and festive meals to more than 400 Malaysian families facing adversity. Renee Koo, Head of Marketing & Communications at Dignity for Children Foundation, expressed appreciation for FBS’s generous donation, noting its significant impact on the lives of beneficiaries. “Contribution from FBS will have a significant impact on the lives of those we serve, enabling us to provide much-needed assistance to families facing financial hardship,” said Koo.

SUKA Society, which focuses on the welfare of marginalized children, echoed similar sentiments of gratitude towards FBS’s support. Sarah Teo, General Manager of SUKA Society, highlighted the collaborative effort’s profound impact on vulnerable groups, stating, “Through FBS’s generous support, we have been able to impact the lives of children without parents, foster refugee families, and human trafficking survivors.
